Ikpeazu said that the state government was pursuing vigorously
its desire to open access to trade and commerce in the state.
"Time has come for us to look at the resources and potential
which abound in the state, and fully deploy them to the
achievement of a great state," he said.
The governor said that the action became necessary considering
the current trend in the international oil market. Ikpeazu said that
the state government was desirous to develop avenues that
would support inflow of businesses.
He said that it was for this reason that the state government
carefully selected people of proven capability and experience as
members of the committee.
