Scholarship scam: "Refund us our money", Aba people sends SOS to FG, demands for the probe of the lawmaker

The people of Aba federal constituency have cried over the ill-fated act melted on them my the never representing Aba federal constituency at the National Assembly Hon.  Ossy prestige,  over the federal government scholarship scheme which he diverted and used the resources gathered by students for the facilitation of the scholarship program.

According to the formation reaching our newsroom, the scholarship was meant for 2000 students who paid a whopping sum for registration and onward facilitation of the scholarship, the fund was diverted by Hon.  Ossy Prestige who sent his son for the scholarship program without any refund to the students the money paid for the facilitation of the scholarship, we also gathered that out of the 200,000 students 20 will be qualified to access the scholarship program. 

Abia source news online ran into one of the students Miss Joy Njoku  a student of microbiology in the Abia state polytechnic, Aba and she narrated her own story “after all the stress, sacrifice Hon. Ossy prestige used our resources to facilitate the scholarship program for his son,  after all the promises At the end we where asked to apply for his bursary scheme, which we need up till now the coordinator of the bursary scheme doesn't take our calls nor reply our text messages,”  she stated.

Most of the parents we interacted with pleaded with federal government and the leadership of the National Assembly to make sure that justice will be done and their money refunded.
