A new sate co_ordinator of the National Health project has been posted to Abia.

A new sate co_ordinator of  the National Health project has been posted to Abia. He is Dr. Conrad Nwosu.

The Executive secretary Abia state primary Health care, Chinagozi Adindu who was accompanied by the South east zonal coordinator of the National Health Project ,Dr Remy Enemuoh disclosed this on Tuesday when he paid a courtesy visit to the commissioner of Health Dr. John Ahukannah in his office in Umuahia .

Dr. Nwosu while congratulating the governor for his reappointment as the honourable commissioner in the health ministry said that the reward for a job weldone is more work.

He thanked the honourable commissioner for welcoming them in his office.

In his speech, the South east zonal coordinator of National Helath Project Dr. Enemouh also informed the honourable commissioner of a federal government project called the "E HEALTH " .

According him, the E Health is all about Health data and that many agencies are involved .They said they have come to liase with the ministry of Health for their one month project .

He also said they have come to get the honourable commissioner's endorsement to do the exercise which emphasis on capacity building.


Welcoming the team ,the honourable commissioner for health, Dr. John Ahukannah expressed joy and gratitude that the state have a national coordinator that will guide the primary health in Abia through murky waters .

Dr. Ahukannah while giving his nod into the ITC training by E HEALTH AFRICA said that, " Its piloting has been done this year in 15piloting centers across the state and ended in July .He emphasized that there will be a synergy that will benefit Abians ."

The honourable commissioner who gave his consent on behalf of the state government maintained that Governor Ikpeazu's major Interest is to ensure that health care gets to the grass root.
