Disregard “evil” publication linking me with Grazing Reserve Bill – Sen. Orji

The Senator representing Abia Central at the National
Assembly, Senator Theodore Orji has described as evil the
publication linking him with the sponsoring of the
beleaguered National Grazing Reserve Commission
establishment in the South-East.

In a press release made available on Monday, by his Media
Adviser, Mr. Don Norman Obinna, the immediate past
governor of Abia State urged the people to disregard such
junk publication as it was only meant to create tension and
hatred among the good people of the South-East.

According to him, the said publication emanated from some
disgruntled elements that were behind the circulation on the
social media contrived lies against his person just to score
cheap political goals adding that the South-East National
Assembly members are committed to ensuring that the
interests of the geo-political zone are adequately protected.
“The proposed Cattle Grazing Reserve Bill in the South-East
geo-political zone is not in the best interest of the zone and I
as one of the representatives of the people of the South-East
will not sponsor any bill that does not serve the interest of
the people.

“It is laughable therefore that some persons are playing
politics with such issue that is detrimental to the collective
aspiration of the South-East geo-political zone undermining
the psychological infringements their wicked lies are causing
the people.” Orji said.

Sen. Orji who urged the people to disregard the baseless
publication further assured the people of his constituency and
the South-East geo-political zone of his and his colleagues’
resolution to put first the interest of the zone above personal
and political gains.

He also urged the people behind the publication to put
political interest aside and promote issues that will promote
peace and unity among the people of the South-East even as
he pleaded with the people to continue to repose confidence
in the South-East representatives at the NASS as their
collective accent is on the accelerated development of the
zone.
