Late Alex Ekwueme: Barr. Mohammed Kabir Usman Mourns.

Frontline aspirant for the office of National Publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Mohammed Kabir Usman has conveyed his condolences to the Ekwueme royal family of Oko, Orumba North LGA Anambra State over the demise of their patriarch, former Vice-President of Nigerians and elder statesman His Excellency, Architect Alexander Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme who passed on yesterday in a London hospital.

‎Barr. Kabir Usman who spoke earlier today expressed shock at the development and noted that *"the Late Vice President was a pan-African statesman par excellence and a uniquely detribalized citizen who showed exemplary commitment towards making Nigeria work for good.*

Barr. Kabir Usman disclosed that *"notwithstanding ‎His status as a public servant who distinguished Himself on the basis of selflessness, integrity, truth and fairness to everyone, the Late Vice President remained a stabilizing factor in the PDP who often brought His wealth of rich experience in public service to bear just as he was a mentor to millions of other leaders. I will miss Him. The PDP will miss Him and Nigeria will miss Him.

The only consolation here is that he lived a life worthy of emulation. May His gentle soul find eternal repose in Heaven."
