Education For Empowerment E4E program graduates first students in abia
The pioneering convocation ceremony of the first graduates of education for empowerment(E4E) graduate, was graced with the presence of the executive governor of Abia state Okezie Ikpeazu, and many distinguished guest, The ceremony, which was attended by the Minister Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, promoter of Innoson Motors, Nnewi, Innocent Chukwuma, representative of Aliko Dangote, Joseph Makoju, Registrar, National Technical Examination Board (NABTEB), Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe, among others also had a former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, as the keynote speaker .
The E4E is ment to train its students in information communication technology skills,
The governor gave automatic employment to 170 out of the 464 pioneering graduates.
The employed graduate are to fill roles in the oil and gas, agriculture, education, and trade/commerce sectors of the abian economy.
Peter obi expressed his delight in the scheme he urged the graduates to put the skills they had learnt into practice and be part of the change agent in the country.
