Ochendo has done well - Party Chieftain

 A prominent political stalwart in Abia state, Chief John K. Nwadinobi, has extolled the former governor of Abia State and the Senator Representing Abia Central senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator T. A.Orji for his effective, dynamic and quality representation of the zone at the upper legislative chamber.

 Chief Nwadinobi who spoke with newsmen in Umuahia on the recent town hall meeting hosted by the senator to intimate his constituents on his achievements at the National Assembly noted that the state and zone are proud of ochendo for his articulate and serial achievements and contributions in the Senate in the last two years.

 Chief Nwadinobi stated that it was commendable that the senator is rated the third most productive senator in the Senate since June 2016 due to numerous bills he had sponsored which has resulted to series of resolution passed by the senate and its impart in the polity.

 According to the Amaogwuwu Ohuhu Umuahia North-born Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) chieftain, the people are happy with such giant strides by their representative coupled with series of projects attracted by the former governor through various committees the senator belonged to and the bills sponsored.

He further stated that by these achievements, Sen. Orji has proved that the quality of a representative has a lot to play on how issues affecting the people and their needs could be bought to front burner and attention given to them.

 The American trained physician said that the continuation of ochendo’ s empowerment programme in areas of Education, infrastructure development and youth development were testimonies of the commitment of the former governor to ensure that his people have a feel of democracy dividend and assured that the people of ward, local governments and the zone in general would continue to support him.

On the going voters registration, the PDP top notcher urged the people of Abia in particular and Southeasters mainly those who attained 18 years and above since after the last exercise to come out enmass and be register in order to exercise their franchise in 2019 general election.

Chief Nwadinobi expressed appreciation to the Nation’s apex court for upholding the mandate the people of the state freely gave to Dr Okezie Ikeazu in their judgement as it brought to a close all litigations against the governor who can now work with a relax mind and change the face of development of the state for better.
