MADE - IN - ABA PRODUCTS; BREAKS MORE GROUND

The Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has played a vital role in creating and promoting awareness for Made - in - Aba products in order to boost the economy of the state. There has been a call to private investors to partner with the state government in promoting our locally made products.

For instance, on the 14th of July,Made - in - Aba Fashion Shoe will be unveiled in Abuja.The focus of the fashion show is to continue to press down on the need to patronize Made - in - Aba products, create more awareness and penetrate Abuja markets and beyond.

Indeed the radical progress which Made - in - Aba are witnessing presently is attributable to the favourable  programmes and policies laid down for the SMEs in the state by the Gov. Okezie - led administration. Gov. Ikpeazu is a man who understands the importance of SMEs and the proper attention Made - in - Aba goods need in order to become a national and international brand.

Truly,artisans in Aba have the potential and capacity to produce and lunch standard local products into the international market. Aba artisans are well known in the business of fabrication of equipment and tools,garment, finished leather products - shoe,belt,bags and sandals, furniture and other sundry products which can compete favourably with other global brands.

It would also be recalled that the progress recorded in boosting the SMEs in Abia State had attracted the attention of the Nigeria Army hence the ordering of 50,000 pairs of military boots.

In like manner,Abians in diaspora had also cue into the promotion of Made - in - Aba goods and placed an order for an initial 1000 pairs of school sandals that was distributed to pupils in Abia State for free.

The Made - in - Aba products is now a global name and is gaining back its lost glory.Looking at Made - in - Aba products what it was and now,you can agree with me that Gov. Ikpeazu has done a lot in showing commitment to the promotion, rebranding and bringing a facelift to Aba products which led the purchasing rate of the products to drastically increased. The new development have provide more jobs and reduced the unemployment rate in the state and increased the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the state.

The Made - in - Aba fashion show holding in Abuja,is an avenue for Aba designers to lunch their products into Abuja markets,a call for private investors to invest and help in promoting Made - in - Aba products.

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu aggressive promotion of the Aba products, which reflects on his wears - Made - in - Aba clothes and shoes and it shows a leader who is passionate and proud of his own.
