Another APGA Lawmaker endorses Governor Ikpeazu

The lawmaker representing Aba South Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Honorable Clinton Ebere has urged his constituents to massively support Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of PDP for re-election as he has done enough to earn their support.

Speaking during the commissioning of four roads constructed by Governor Ikpeazu at the Ngwa Road area of Aba, Hon. Clinton praised the Governor as the man the state needs to move forward speedily and attain its full potentials.

Clinton who was visibly joyous when the Governor commissioned Onyebuchi, Emejiaka, Aharandu and Ibadan roads, all in his constituency, urged for support from all Abians to enable the Governor continue to move the State forward.

According to him, "there is absolutely no reason not to support the performing Governor".

It will be recalled that last Wednesday his APGA colleague representing Ohafia South state constituency. Hon, Ifeanyi Uchendu, also endorsed Governor Ikpeazu for re-election during a thank you visit to his constituency.

Observers in the state point to the unfolding opposition support for Governor Ikpeazu, especially from elected APGA representatives, as responsible for APGA state legislators avoiding the weekend event of the party's 2015 Governorship candidate, Alex Otti, at his Nvosi Isiala Ngwa residence.

At the poorly attended event filled with APGA politicians from outside Abia State, only one elected legislator, from Otti's original hometown, Arochukwu, attended the much advertised event.

All the other state and federal legislators, including Hon. Ossy Prestige (APGA, Aba Nort/South) avoided the event. As Governor Ikpeazu continues to deliver democracy dividends to Abians, more opposition politicians are expected to back him to success in 2019.
