defied all journalistic principles.

(Monday), alleging that the immediate past governor of Abia
State was arrested last week and being detained for diverting
N200 billion Abia State funds as well as, owning 400 houses

In a press release by his media adviser, Mr. Don Norman

who threatened legal action if conditions given to Igbere TV

sole intent to bring his name and office to ridicule.
The statement reads in part: “We not only find this baseless
piece of (dis)information insulting to the office and person of
Senator T.A Orji but also a calculated attempt by disgruntled
politicians to manipulate the psyche of the general public as
the alleged arrest and detention of Sen. Orji only exists in the
mind of the writer and his frustrated sponsors.
“We therefore give Igbere TV the next one hour to step down
the misleading information which defied all journalistic
principles with unreserved apologies published on all viable
online portals and three national newspapers or face legal
action.
