It Is Now Time For Us To Expose Infertility
What's infertility?
Infertility is when a male and a female regularly engage in
unprotected sexual intercourse without the use of contraceptive
and it does not lead to pregnancy for 12 months and beyond.
When it comes to this condition, it is often the woman who is
suspected. Both sexes can go through infertility and this must be
noted.
Let's have a look at some of the things we directly or indirectly do
to get us into such state or condition:
1.OCCUPATION
Those who work around heat or fire such as the goldsmith,
blacksmith etc. without any protective wear. They risk quality
sperm production due to rise in testicular temperature. Those
who have superiors or bosses who are always on the neck of
their subordinates can push them into high emotional stress.
Workers/clients who are exposed to radiations, chemicals, certain
pesticides and herbicides as well as microwave emissions can
have their chances of procreation reduced. Putting laptops on the
lap or thighs over time, affect fertility.
2.ALCOHOL
Taking in a lot of alcohol overtime can reduce a man's fertility.
For a woman who is pregnant, any amount of alcohol can pose a
risk to her pregnancy. Unfortunately, there are so many alcoholic
drinks out there which plays on the minds of people with
assurance that when you drink you can have sex non stop. This in
a way pushes a lot of people to drink in excess.
Those who continuously wear tight fitting jeans for longer hours
or days also create rise in testicular temperature. Those who
continue to stay in their swim suit hours after swimming are no
different.
4.RIDING
Strenuous riding such as bicycle or horse can also create
problem to the testicles.
5. OVER-SMOKING
Excessive smooking can also affect quality sperm production. A
woman who is pregnant and still smokes can get miscarriage. It
is important to note that even secondhand smokers are equally at
risk as those who directly smoke.
6. STD
Infections such as gonorrhea, chlamydia or even mumps can lead
to infirtility.
7. HORMONIAL
Hormonal imbalance can also lead to infertility in both males
and females due to certain factors.
8. AGE LIMIT
As one ages, his or her ability to produce quality sperms or egg
is compromised. Infertility has now become a big issues among
females who are between 30 and 35 years of age. A man who is
40 years also start having his chances reduced (this is not to say
that a man above 40 cannot impregnate)
9. OBESITY AND OVER WEIGHT
For the chances of being pregnant or impregnating to go high,
there ought to be hormonal balance. However, being overweight
will reduce that chance. Not eating well and being underweight
can also be a factor.
10. THICK SEMINAL FLUID
Sometimes the seminal fluid is too thick to carry the sperm
fast so they die before they get to the egg or not get there at all.
11. Stress/depression
Some people cannot stand the pressure to give birth after a
certain period of being married by in-laws or friends. This affect
quality sleep and can set the person into too much thinking.
12. LONG DISTANCE
Some partners do not live together so they hardly see each other
and some people also live together but hardly get time to have
sex. The chances of having sex when the woman is not fertile or
in her safe period is high if the calculation is not done to know
the best time.
13. SHORTER CYCLE
Some females who have shorter cycles also ovulate while
they menstruate and if this is not detected early, the couple will
have sex but not during when the lady is menstruating.
A. Azoospermia: when a man ejaculate but without any sperm.
B. Oligospermia: when a man ejaculate but the sperm in the fluid
is very low.
There are other causes of infirtility not mentioned here.
Partners ought to be there for each other in times like this to
maintain calm and emotion.
It can be treated if you seek early medical attention. If you need
my help or clarification, please don't hesitate.
