How Sex And G-String Can Lead To Uti By Milicent Maore
UTI stand for Urinary Tract Infection and it is an infection which
affect the urethra, the bladder and even the kidney.
If you examine the perineum of a female which is the space
between the anus and the vaginal opening, you will realize that
they are very close. The anus is where feacal matter from the
body is excreted and it contains bacteria. During sexual
intercourse, some of the bacteria can travel into the vagina and
get to the urethra. The distance between the urethral opening to
the bladder in women is shorter than in men. Which makes
women more at risk. The more sex you have the greater the risk.
Changing sexual partners can also put you are risk of getting UTI.
To reduce the possibility of UTI after sexual intercourse, the
woman should take a pee or urinate to clear any bacteria which
may be in the urethra. She must also drink a lot of water to help
in that direction.
Men should also ensure that their genital are clean before and
after sex.
Avoid douching in the name of making the vagina smell like a
flower. Do not wipe yourself from the anus towards the vagina.
Change your panties regularly or when it's too moist and it's
possible to change.
Another thing which can also lead to UTI is the wearing of G-
String. This is so because the string creates a perfect bridge or
easily facilitates the travel of the germs from the anus to the
vagina.
You should think of the possibility of UTI if you frequently urinate,
have burning sensation when urinating, lower abdominal pains or
have a discharge with bad adour.
