"With Uviejitobor, PDP will win Udu come 2019" Says Okowa

The Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa at the weekend revealed that with the decamping of the Member Representing Udu Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor to the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) he (okowa) is convinced that PDP will win Udu Local Government Area Come 2019 general elections.


Governor Okowa made this statement while receiving Hon. Uviejitobor and other decampees from various political parties during the PDP Delta Central Mega Rally held at Sapele Township Stadium.

Governor Okowa said; "I join the party chairman to receive our people who have come back and for those who have not been with us in the past, who have come to join us; you have come to test what it is to belong to this family, the PDP family. I thank all our leaders; we are here as a family and this is the very first rally we have had since I came into office and it is very successful. With the decamping of Hon. Peter Uviejitobor,  PDP will win Udu come 2019 general elections".
Earlier in his speech, Hon. Uviejitobor who formally decamped to PDP with thousands of his Labour Party supporters, stated that he has been a founding member of the Peoples' Democratic Party who went on sabbatical to secure his mandate in the state house of assembly, and is now back to PDP with nearly all members of the Labour party in Udu Local Government Area; adding that come 2019, PDP will surely win Udu and Delta State.
