Abia Poly received N4bn From TETFUND In eight Years –Aspoly Rector
Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, received N4 billion
from the Tertiary education agree with Fund (TETFUND)
from 1999 to this point, the acting Rector, Mr
Okpara Onyekwere, has said.
Onyekwere made the declaration on Thursday in
Aba, while members of the nation Correspondents’
Chapel, Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) paid him a

He said that the polytechnic had benefitted
immensely from TETFUND, adding that the consider
fund was a main supply of investment for the
organization after the nation government.
“TETFUND has been very helpful to the polytechnic;
TETFUND has geared up 5 engineering
programmes inside the group,’’ he said.
The rector stated that the country authorities had paid
the N2 billion mortgage the organization took from First

3-month certificate programme for artisans,
bricklayers, mechanics and electricians in Aba as
part of efforts to impact on its environment.
He appealed to public lively people and
philanthropists to support the institution to actualise
its goals.
