Secretary to State Government, Hon. Kenneth Kobani, addresses

National Union of Rivers State Students on their Solidarity Visit to

Government House over the Victory of Governor Nyesom Wike at

the Supreme Court.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has pledged to
improve on the welfare of students in the state, declaring that all
people of the state have made a collective choice to always
stand by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

According to Simeon Nwakaudu  SA (GOV) Electronic Media , the governor said this in Government House, Port Harcourt when he
granted audience to the members of the National Union of Rivers
State Students, NURSS, on Monday, Governor Wike said that the
students of the state and other stakeholders are supportive of the
PDP because of its pro-people agenda.

The governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State
Government, Chief Kenneth Kobani thanked the students for
celebrating his victory at the Supreme Court.
Governor Wike advised them not to allow themselves to be
misled, but take their studies seriously describing them as the
future of the state and the nation.

According to him, very soon government will take some practical
steps to improve their welfare as a way of reciprocating their
love.

The students chanted solidarity songs and congratulated Governor
Wike on his victory at the Supreme Court.
They passed a vote of confidence on him assuring him of their
readiness to partner with him to consolidate on the gains of his
administration.
