A PRE-EVENT INFORMATION OF GOV. IKPEAZU'S TRIP TO ATLANTA AND GEORGIA, HART

Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu will on Wednesday,
October 7, 2015 proceed to Atlanta, Georgia, United States of
America on a 4-Day working visit.

The Proposed Itinerary of the Governor while in the United States
is as stated below:

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2015.

11:00am - GEORGIA-ABIA INVESTMENT DIALOGUE

The Governor is billed to meet with select group of Georgia
based Investors to discuss new opportunities for investment in
Abia State.

The Governor will equally hold follow-up meetings
with some of the Investors with whom discussions were opened
for investments in Abia state during the Governor’s last trip to the
United States.

7:00pm – The Governor will be Special Guest at an Evening
Welcome Reception at the Nigerian Consulate hosted by the
Consul-General of the Nigerian Consulate in Atlanta, Ambassador
Godfrey Tenielabe

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2015

11:00am – The Governor will visit select companies and
organizations for discussion on opportunities in Abia State.

9:00pm – The Governor will hold a Town Hall Meeting with the
Leadership of over 80 Associations of Abians resident in North
America.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2015

ABIA STATE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NORTH AMERICA
CONVENTION

The Governor will on this day present his Keynote Address at the
plenary of the Abia State National Association of North America
Annual Convention.

The ASNA-NA is an association of all Abia
State indigenes resident in the United State and Canada.

There
are about 200,000 Abians in North America in different fields of
endeavour and the ASNA-NA Convention is their opportunity to
meet annually and discuss how they can contribute to the
betterment of their home state.

The Governor will speak on
theme: “Abia State our Abia State" which will enable him talk
about the current developments in Abia State and the
opportunities that abound in it.

The Governor will use the
opportunity of his Keynote Address to highlight the current
developments in Abia State and urge Abians resident in North
America to serve as investment ambassadors for the State
wherever they are while reminding the delegates to think about
investing in Abia State.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 11, 2015

9:00am - The Governor will attend a Church Service at St. Faith
Anglican Church, Riverdale GA. With Rt. Rev Dr. Felix Orji and Rt.
Rev Chris Ugwuzor Presiding.

2:00pm – The Governor will depart Atlanta to return to Nigeria.
