Easter Miracle: Buhari, President Of The North Realises He Needs All Nigerians To Succeed"

During Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari’s Easter Day
address to the nation, he said, “Let us all also play our parts as
patriotic citizens and do all that we can to ensure that we make
Nigeria a safer, more peaceful and happier place for its people
and others… That CHANGE, which we all yearn for, will certainly
occur more rapidly if we all place the love of our country above
selfish personal and group interests.”
Buhari, the most selfish and bigoted president, should heed his
own advice before counseling the rest of us. What a phony he is…
how can we forget Buhari’s many comments:
On being fair to all Nigerians after the election, Buhari said,
“….The constituents, for example, gave me 97% [of the vote]
cannot in all honesty be treated on some issues with
constituencies that gave me 5%.” – Muhammadu Buhari in the
US, July 25, 2015.
On his lopsided kitchen cabinet appointments (99% from the
North), Buhari said (incoherently I must add):
“This is the nature of Nigerian politics. If they will do justice to
me, as an elected Nigerian president, let them look at the
Constitution a Nigerian president works with, there are people
who will closely work with me that don’t need to be taken to the
Senate. If I select people whom I know quite well in my political
party, whom we came all the way right from the APP, CPC and
APC, and have remained together in good or bad situation, the
people I have confidence in and I can trust them with any post,
will that amount to anything wrong? – Muhammadu Buhari on
BBC Hausa.
On decision to enroll Nigeria in the Saudi Arabia led Islamic
Coalition Force Against Terrorism:
Given the fact that Nigeria has large populations of both Muslims
and Christians and that some Christians are complaining that he
is giving Islamic identity to the country, Buhari said, “Why can’t
those Christians that complained go and fight terrorism in Nigeria
or fight the militancy in the South. It’s Nigeria that matters, not
the opinion of some religious bigots.” – Muhammadu Buhari on
Al Jazeera.
On foreign exchange policy to remit school fees overseas, that
selectively benefits him and a few elites: To the disadvantage of
many, Buhari said: “So if some parents are finding it difficult to
pay, let them return their kids to Nigeria to complete their
education.” – Muhammadu Buhari on Al Jazeera.
Buhari begging Nigerians for understanding continues to
demonstrate his lack of appreciation for the root of his problems.
In a previous article I gave him some not so subtle hint, on
September 1, 2015:
“It is no rocket science that every modern state rests and thrives
on a tripod namely national security, economy, and domestic
affair pillars. The leaders of these various pillars are most likely to
be at the decision making table, with the president.
“To save his presidency, Buhari must exorcize his illusory
superiority traits, reach out, consult widely, and reconstitute
leadership of Nigeria’s national security, economy, and domestic
affair pillars, to ensure equitable geo-political representation..”
