and an Appeal Panel member
of the Inner London Crown
Court hearing appeals from
the decisions of Magistrates.
I have a 1st Degree in
Business administration,
Diploma in Management
Studies, Masters degree in
Development Studies.
NOTE: I have read a lot of updates from my APGA
friends on how this witness
mesmerized all the Counsel
to the Respondents today.
Now, how can someone
with the aforementioned pedigree fail to understand a
simple question put across to
him?
What is the nexus
between the answers
supplied here and the
question itself? The English Lawyer went off the track
by supplying answers that
have no bearing with the
question.
However, the 1st
Respondent Counsel repeated the question.
Q. When were you called to
Bar in Nigeria?
Ans. I was called to Bar in
England, not in Nigeria.

Ans. I do not believe it has a
different meaning in Nigeria.
Q. Are you aware that legal
practice is regulated by law in Nigeria?

Ans. But I have not said so.
Q. Do you know that a Legal

a person who is called to Bar
to practice as a Barrister and a solicitor and whose name
is entered in the roll of Legal
Practitioners in Nigeria?
Ans. My lord, it may well be
so.
Q. Were you called as a Barrister or Solicitor in UK?
Ans. I was called as a
Barrister of the Inner

introductory paragraph?

Ans. Not all my Lord.
Q. Will you rate the amount
reflected in your deposition
as substantial or minimal?
Ans. My Lord, we are
talking about 3000 Units.
I need to have collected all the
responses, in order to know
how to get it known at %.
Q. You complained of
malpractices in Osisioma,
Aba North and South and Ugwunagbo, tell the Court
the distance between these
LGs and Umuahia.
Ans. Obingwa shares

than I hr drive. Is it correct ?
Ans. It is within 15minutes.

please, bear with me. I will continue from the
cross of 2nd and 3rd
Respondents today .
Meanwhile our APPEAL @
Owerri comes up today too.
The 1st Respondent opened his case yesterday. I will post
the legal debate that forced
the Petitioners to close their
case yesterday.
But they have a
motion for Extension of
time that will be heard next week.
But the ruling of that
Motion is highly predictable.
Matter was equally
adjourned to today
21/08/2015.
