The immediate past governor of Abia State and senator representing Abia central, Chief Theodore Ahamefule Orji has described as laughable the allegation of under-performance and infrastructural negligence against him by his predecessor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu.

In a press released by his media adviser, Mr. Don Norman Obinna, in Umuahia, Sen. Orji said that Kalu’s incessant attacks and sponsored propaganda against him through his media organisations and disgruntled aides were self-defeating as they have always had the opposite effect.
Kalu had while reacting to the recent political misapprehension in Abia State through his media adviser; Mr. Ebere Wabara described Abia State as the most backward state in Nigeria, blaming Sen. Orji’s emergence as the governor of Abia State in 2007 as the catalyst for “infrastructural negligence and bad governance in the God’s Own State.”

But in his swift reaction, Sen. Orji described Kalu’s recent outburst as diversionary from his pending case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), as well as his eight years of crass ineptitude, slavery and political manipulation of the state and her citizenry.
The senator representing Abia central, said he was not surprised that Kalu would choose to mislead innocent citizens because that has always been his stock in trade.
